Parents should keep sticky sugary foods at a minimum for kids. These types of food tend to stick to the teeth and make it very hard to clean. Otherwise sticky foots stick to the grooves of teeth, and if not removed completely can cause tooth decay. Kids should brush twice a day with parental supervision until they are able to do on their own, and should floss daily. Good habits start early.
