If you are missing a tooth and have a tooth in front and behind the missing tooth a bridge may be a good option. A bridge is basically 3 or 4 units of crowns that are connected and cemented together. This is not a removable appliance.

It usually takes just a few visits. We take an impression of your teeth so that we can make a temporary bridge on the day of preparation. When you come for that appointment we prepare the teeth, take a final impression and place the temporary bridge. We then send the impression to the lab. On delivery date we check for fit, and once you and the dentist are happy we cement the bridge, and go over the special home care you will have to follow.
